what I’ve been up to, scrap-wise
Posted May 21, 2007on:
Whoa… here I am again. If you’re wondering where I am or have been — just trying to work out my dealings with the Internet. Get a handle on it.
ETA: If you are of the scrapping, or otherwise papercrafting persuasion, you should totally go check your local Costco. At mine I found a HUGE pack of My Mind’s Eye paper (Wild Asparagus and Magnolia) for only about $13. You can see a little bit of it below (in the Sleepyheads layout: the blue, and the two bits of patterned paper), but trust me, these papers are so gorgeous, it literally takes my breath away just to flip through them. I should paper the walls with them. They’re so lovely.
Blah blah. Anyway, here’s some scrapbook layouts for your enjoyment.
Funny story. She was about 18 months old, and picked all the broccoli out of her pasta and ate it before she would touch the noodles. So funny. I love this dotted and scalloped paper.

This didn’t photograph the best. Ah well. I love that the blue cardstock matches the blue in the accents. Sometimes I really wish for an undo button in paper scrapping — like after I finished putting too much ink around the edges of this layout. Letting go now… Other than that I’m pretty pleased with this one.
Chipboard accents: SEI

PP: wild asparagus
ink: Ranger (too much inking!)

When he was riding this elephant statue he just said “Yee haw! Yee haw!” over and over. Cracked me up — knew immediately that I needed to scrap it. I love this BG elephant paper. LOVE. I was trying to scraplift an Ali Edwards LO here, but I couldn’t find the magazine that had it in it (it was in Studio A, one called cool-cute or cute-cool; she used this elephant paper which is why I tracked it down to buy it, also the circle thing here — but what month? who knows), so it ended up rather unlike it. Ah well. Very old “cloud” paper.
CS: Bazzill, Wild Asparagus
PP: Paper Pizzaz, Basic Grey (those elephants, I LOVE)
Chipboard letters: Heidi Swapp
Circle punch & cutting system: Creative Memories
