our lives are made in these small hours

Posted on: November 23, 2007

(By the way people, I swear I will go through in a couple days and read your hard-posted Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend posts. And comment. So you won’t feel it was all in vain. I’m sure y’all will do the same for me. Uh, right?)

The song: Little Wonders, by Rob Thomas, from the soundtrack to Meet the Robinsons. (I actually really like Meet the Robinsons – probably partly because I expected it to be awful, and it’s really not. Be that as it may, I LOVE this song.)

Let it go,
Let it roll right off your shoulder
Don’t you know
The hardest part is over
Let it in,
Let your clarity define you
In the end
We will only just remember how it feels

Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders,
These twists and turns of fate
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours still remain

(See the full lyrics here.)
